Entertainment Inc. in association with 'Round the
World Challenge Charity have partnered to produce
two specific projects documenting the Mike Nemesvary
'Round the World Challenge
- Driving for a Cure
The
Documentary:
Mike
Nemesvary 'Round the World Challenge
"once an athlete, always an athlete"
GAPC
Entertainment Inc. will produce a one hour television
documentary focusing on former World Cup champion
freestyle skier Mike Nemesvary's bid to become the
first quadriplegic to drive around the world.
This unique documentary special will follow and document
Mike and his professional support team on their 40,000
- kilometer journey through 16 countries in a specially
equipped vehicle. The documentary special will inspire
both disabled and able-bodied audiences worldwide,
and ultimately provide a platform to raise funds to
find a cure for spinal cord injury.
Christopher Reeve, actor/director, has agreed to appear
in the prologue of the documentary and to provide
bridge narration for the one-hour television special.
The television special will be available for broadcast
worldwide as a lead-in program to the 2002 Winter
Olympics in Salt Lake City, USA.
VHS and DVD copies of the documentary program will
also be released for direct sales.
A
percentage of profits from the sale of the documentary
will be donated to the 'Round the World Challenge.
Coffee
Table Book:
Mike
Nemesvary 'Round the World Challenge - Driving for

GAPC
and Mike Nemesvary will publish a coffee table book
that portrays in stills, captions and narrative text
Mike's years as a Junior and Senior World Class Champion
athlete, his injury, his rehabilitation, his life
after the fall and his 'Round the World Challenge
- Driving for a Cure.
The
coffee table book will feature a visual and textual
record of Mike Nemesvary's life and his momentous
undertaking that is the 'Round the World Challenge.
We
anticipate design and layout of the book during the
fall/winter of 2001 and in stores prior to the winter
Olympics, February 8-24, and the Paralympics, March
7-16, 2002 in Salt Lake City, USA.
A
percentage of profits from the sale of the coffee
table book will be donated to the 'Round the World
Challenge.
