'Round
the World Challenge
started out with the dream of a former world-class athlete:
to become the first quadriplegic to drive around the
world.
In
October 2001, the dream became reality as Mike Nemesvary triumphantly
returned to Ottawa, Canada, after a six-month, 40,000 kilometre
gruelling journey through over 20 countries.
The
Challenge raised over $1 million and provided a living example
of the incredible accomplishments that can be achieved by
people with even severe disabilities.
...more
about Mike's story and the journey
Work
continues on the RWC documentary and book and, through his
public engagements, Mike continues to motivate and inspire...
